July 2012 - The Song of Hiawatha
At 7.15pm on Saturday 28th July 2012, in the Coronation Hall, Ulverston, the CCI Chorus, conducted by Ian Jones, accompanied by the Northern Chamber Orchestra, with soloists Lesley Jane Rogers (Soprano), Nicholas Hurndall Smith (Tenor) and David Kempster (Bass) performed The Song of Hiawatha by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor to open the Lake District Summer Music Festival.

There was also a report from Heather of a comment overheard in a B and B, it was was well worth travelling 200 miles to hear Hiawatha.
