Cumbria Festival Chamber Choir (CFCC)

Cumbria Festival Chamber Choir, a branch of the Cumbria Festival Chorus, is a small, friendly, not-for-profit ensemble dedicated to bringing high-quality choral music to rural communities across the North West through its intimate concert series inspired by the concept of “Music in Quiet Places.”

Celebrating the connection between sound, silence, and setting, the choir performs in historic and peaceful venues—often rural churches—creating reflective, immersive musical experiences in which music enhances stillness rather than disrupts it. With approximately 15-20 singers, the ensemble maintains a warm and balanced chamber-choir sound.

Guided by a clear not-for-profit ethos, we are committed to keeping costs and ticket prices as low as possible. Above all, we value accessibility, community engagement, and the joy of sharing beautiful choral music in atmospheric and inspiring settings.
